The Trio Posing

The puppies are really the best of friends. We'd love to be able to keep them all together, but that is unrealistic for us. If you are interested in giving a home to two of the puppies, or all three, please e-mail us. We might be able to work something out.

We know how hard it is for the puppies to separated at first. Lima was very sad when we first got her, which is why we got Chorizo for her as a friend. She sure did cheer up after that. It's just an idea...

Katinka - 4 weeks

Katinka is getting bigger all the time! It's amazing how sturdy she is. Her wrinkles on her face are starting to smooth out and she's frolicking along with her brother and sister! We were afraid that she wouldn't be able to pick her belly rolls off the floor, but she did it! She is the first of the puppies to bark out loud and she let's us know when she needs attention! She seems to be a good mix between Lima's and Chorizo's personalities. We're so happy her personality is starting to show!

Baloo - 4 weeks

Baloo is quite the character. Katinka and Bruja play a little rough with him, but he can hold his own. He's taken to pouncing and we think he's starting to chase his tail (which is something his papa loves doing)! He is undeniably adorable! Although he likes to play, he would much rather be cuddling and giving kisses. He loves sleeping on his back now and he LOVES to lick ears (another trait from Chorizo)! He's such a curious little pup!

Bruja - 4 weeks

We cannot believe how much Bruja has grown! She has such a spunky personality! She often pounces on her brother and sister, wanting them to play with her. She has started growling and even tries running (although its more of a frolic)! She really likes to snuggle under the covers and pokes her head out, just like her mama. She really behaves more like Lima every day!

Thanksgiving Update

As you all know, we've been giving the puppies wet dog food since last Saturday. They've enjoyed it, but have mostly just been licking it til it was gone, like a lollipop. On Thanksgiving we discovered that all three puppies are getting in their teeth! They are sharp! They can now chew up their food. We did our best to get pictures of them and we got Bruja and Katinka, but Baloo was a little too squirmy (like his dad)!

Puppy Update

The puppies turned 3 weeks yesterday and we can't believe how big they've gotten! They have gotten so big that it's starting to get a little more difficult for Lima to feed all three pups at once. Since they're getting older (and we can feel their teeth developing), we decided to start them on a small amount of wet puppy food (Science Diet - that is what we fed Lima while she was pregnant). Katinka has really taken to eating the wet food, while Baloo and Bruja enjoy it, but are still trying to get a hang of it!
